Tejo

Tejo is a game so popular in Colombia, it is considered the national sport. I've played it a couple times already and I really enjoy the game. It's a combination of throwing rocks, explosions, and what is a better addition than alcohol?

To play tejo, you must throw this rock

At this slab of clay

While drinking this.

Cool, right?

Oh wait, I forgot to tell you about the explosions.

In the middle of the slab of clay is a circle and around the circle are little pink triangles. The little pink triangles are like fire crackers so when you throw a rock like this at it, the firecracker explodes, flames out, or it will do nothing and maybe jump off the clay. If you get your tejo ( the rock) in the middle you get about 6 points depending on what everyone decides. If you hit a fire cracker and it explodes, you get about half as many points.

So, it looks a little like this..

And this is me when I finally make a good shot.

So what do you think? Should we bring Tejo to The States?
